Mama T’s Texas is a small business founded by Tess Romance, dedicated to crafting elderberry syrups that support wellness through natural ingredients and traditional preparation. As demand for her handmade products grew, Tess recognized the need for a more professional, functional website—one that could support online sales and give her customers a smoother experience.
The original site was built on Wix, which limited design flexibility, performance, and overall control. It lacked key features needed to properly showcase products, process orders, and grow the business online. As Tess looked to expand her customer base and simplify operations, it became clear that the site needed to be rebuilt on a more powerful platform.
We rebuilt the Mama T’s Texas website from the ground up using WordPress and WooCommerce, focusing on functionality, design, and future growth. Here's what we delivered:
The new site reflects the heart of the brand—clean, calming, and rooted in natural wellness. Warm colors, simple layouts, and thoughtful typography help convey trust and clarity while keeping the product at the center.
The rebuild gave Mama T’s a robust foundation for online sales. WooCommerce provides far more flexibility for managing products, orders, and subscriptions, while also improving speed, SEO, and overall reliability.
With tools like Advanced Custom Fields, we created product pages that include rich details—ingredients, usage, and benefits—while YITH Wishlist and Product Badges help improve customer engagement and promote bestsellers or seasonal offerings.
Using CartFlows and WooCommerce Subscriptions, the site supports both one-time and recurring orders, with a smooth and intuitive checkout process that encourages conversions and customer retention.
To simplify day-to-day operations, we added tools like WP All Import Pro for easy data updates, and MyWorks QuickBooks integration to automate syncing between WooCommerce and QuickBooks—reducing manual effort and bookkeeping errors.
We implemented WP Rocket and Smush Pro for speed and Core Web Vitals optimization, and added Defender Pro for ongoing protection against malware, brute-force attacks, and file vulnerabilities.
The rebuild also included features like a blog, FAQ, email sign-up, and an event calendar—tools that support brand storytelling, customer education, and deeper community connections.
With a new digital platform in place, Mama T’s Texas is set up for continued growth:
The Mama T’s Texas rebuild shows how the right platform and thoughtful design can elevate a small business online. With a beautiful, functional site powered by WooCommerce, Tess now has the tools to manage her store with confidence—and to keep sharing her elderberry syrups with more people across the country.
